Cultivating Thinking and Creativity for New Business
Date: Friday, 24th July 2009, 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm
“We cannot solve the problems of today by applying the same thinking that created these problems in the first place” Einstein
This innovative workshop will give you the drive and skills to challenge your own assumptions and beliefs, thereby opening up new perspectives with new solutions to business issues.
What you’ll learn on the day:
- Challenges with existing beliefs and assumptions about how the world works and why people behave the way they do.
- How a science and math of ‘analysis and abstraction’ misses crucial understanding of issues and relationships.
- Exploring the need for more holistic approaches to thinking, considering what the alternatives are and how individuals can make a difference.
- What and how we were taught in school is part of the ‘problem’.
